Our client is a nonprofit organization that offers services and resources through crisis pregnancy centers for both pregnant women and adoptive parents. From offering counseling services to handing out material resources, their mission is to support women and children as they navigate pregnancy and life with a newborn. They currently have locations in multiple states with plans for expansion.

THE BUSINESS NEED:

To continue their mission, our client needs reliable software that provides accurate, thorough reporting to guarantee their facilities can receive the government funding they need to run. Their current system lacked a clear user interface and complex reporting capabilities, making daily tasks cumbersome for volunteers and employees.

They wanted to upgrade their solution and add features to address workarounds and other user concerns. With no internal software team, the client relied on Geneca’s experience and knowledge to guide them toward the decisions that would be best for their organization.

We built a complete document review and management system that allowed the organization to replace the third-party system they used for that purpose. We also added enhancements to make the review process more engaging for users.

Impersonation mode was added to reduce the amount of time staff spent troubleshooting user issues, and a time machine feature allows users to grab a snapshot of data at a specific time in the system’s history.

In addition to new features, we built a highly configurable system. From the data collected to the reports run to the design of the web pages, this solution allows for customization that gives the client freedom to adapt. This provides flexibility across the different facilities as needed and allows for changes to intake and invoicing processes to grow and evolve with the organization.

THE RESULTS:

Now, our client has a software system that is streamlined and user-friendly. The end result combines various processes to get more done in less time. In addition, the ability to configure multiple components of the web application allows for newfound freedom in how this client can do business.
